Community Engagement & Impact:

In the past year alone, we served over 7,000 meals, distributed thousands of essential items, and supported hundreds of people experiencing homelessness—including 903 recorded rough sleepers in Camden. Our work is shaped by youth volunteers, diverse voices, and community-led ideas. We believe in empathy, leadership, and the healing power of collective action.

Climate Action Plan

Wasting food feeds climate chang.

Sustainability and Climate Action:

We transform surplus into sustenance rescuing quality food that would otherwise go to waste and turning it into hot, nutritious meals for those in need. Much of our surplus food is generously sourced through the Neighbourly platform, which connects us with local supermarkets and businesses committed to reducing waste and supporting their communities.

Our approach goes beyond meals. We provide climate resilience support to help individuals survive all seasons offering cooling items like fans, bottled water, and hats during the summer, and distributing warm gear such as blankets, thermal clothing, and sleeping bags in the winter.

We stand at the intersection of food justice, sustainability, and compassion, ensuring that no one is left behind, no matter the weather or circumstances.

Advice, Crisis Help & Referrals:
A meal is only the beginning. We connect people to critical services:
- StreetLink for emergency shelter
- Citizens Advice, Shelter, and Camden Housing Options for legal and housing support
- Migrant Help and Refugee Council for asylum and immigration assistance
- Samaritans, NHS Crisis Line, SHOUT, and Zero Suicide Alliance for mental health
One step at a time, we help rebuild lives.

Other Food Resources:
No one in Camden should go hungry. We actively signpost to local partners:
- Euston Foodbank
- FoodCycle Camden (Tuesdays 5 PM, Plender St)
- Streets Kitchen Camden (Weds, Fri, Sun, 7:30PM outside Camden Town Station)
- Camden Foodbank (Tues & Fri midday)
Together, we create weekly safety nets and daily nourishment.

Mental Health & Wellbeing – Safe Tables, Safe Minds:
Hunger and homelessness strain the soul and can be the birthplace of trauma and isolation. At our Safe Tables, Safe Minds sessions, trained volunteers and mental health allies offer a calm, confidential space, and a signpost to  Mind in Camden, Good Thinking, SHOUT and Zero Suicide Alliance. Because one meal, one kind word, one connection can ignite hope.

Safe Table, Safe Mind

We provide a warm, welcoming space where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Our services include hot, nutritious meals, warm drinks, and supportive connections that nurture both community and mental wellbeing. Our dedicated volunteers many with lived experience are always available for a friendly conversation, helping to foster a calm, inclusive, and stigma-free environment where every individual feels safe, seen, and supported.

While we do not deliver specialist services directly, we offer general guidance and signpost guests to trusted external organisations for mental health, wellbeing, training, and employment support. As part of our commitment to suicide prevention, we ensure that everyone has a space to talk openly, receive support, and know they are not alone.

Join us every Friday, starting 4th July, from 1–4 PM at King’s Cross Methodist Church, 6 Crestfield Street, London, WC1H 8AT.
Our services are open to all, with a focus on welcoming women, girls, asylum seekers, refugees, and individuals experiencing homelessness or mental health challenges.
